Nina Sarnelle


Nina Sarnelle (she/they) is an artist and musician living on stolen Tongva/Kizh land that is often referred to as Los Angeles. She holds degrees from Oberlin College and Carnegie Mellon University (MFA). They recently had a solo video show at the New Museum and are currently finishing the first album for a new music project called Mouth Noise. Their work has also been shown at Whitechapel Gallery (London), Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), Getty Center (Los Angeles), Ballroom Marfa (Texas), MoMA (New York), Istanbul Modern (Turkey), NADA (Miami), MAAT (Lisbon), Black Cube (Denver), Southern Exposure (San Francisco), Recess (New York), Project 88 (Mumbai), Mwoods (Beijing), Human Resources (Los Angeles) and many others.
